Plan around your arrival, not a packed checklist
Keep your first day flexible, especially after a drive into the hills. Plan for check-in at 2:00 PM and choose one main outing rather than trying to fit every attraction into an afternoon. This suggested itinerary leaves room for meals, rest and time together.
Day one: settle in and explore Yercaud Lake
After your agreed check-in, unpack and take a break. Make Yercaud Lake your main outing for the day. If you want to go boating, check current operating hours, availability and conditions locally before making plans around it. Leave the evening open for dinner and time together at the bungalow.
Day two: choose a viewpoint
Choose Pagoda Point or Lady’s Seat for your second day, depending on the weather and the route that suits your group. Pagoda Point is on the eastern side of the Yercaud hills. Allow time to enjoy the views rather than rushing between stops; cloud and rain can change what you see.
Keep Kiliyur Falls as an optional outing
Consider Kiliyur Falls only if access, weather and the walking involved suit everyone in your group. Check local conditions before setting out. For a slower trip, spend that time at the bungalow or revisit a favourite spot instead.
Choose a base that gives everyone space
Yercaud Bungalow Stay is on Pagoda Point Road, with a private garden, a kitchen, a dining hall and shared living spaces. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms accommodate up to 9 adults and 4 children. Before you travel
